Habitat that stays after the tools leave.
Natural tree hollows can take decades to form, yet they provide important shelter and nesting opportunities for native wildlife. Where appropriate, we create habitat in two ways: by enhancing suitable existing features within standing trees, or by carving purpose-built hollows from larger salvaged timber and securely installing them back into the canopy.

About Natural Progression
Tree care and conservation don't have to be separate disciplines. Done right, they're the same job.
Natural Progression was founded by Finley Watson and George Thompson around a more considered approach to suburban tree care.
Finley is a qualified, conservation-focused arborist with experience in habitat creation, wildlife-conscious arboriculture and native revegetation. His work goes beyond the standard cut-and-clear approach, focusing on the health of the tree and the ecosystem around it — from sustainable pruning to carving and installing habitat hollows for native wildlife.
Behind the scenes, George handles quoting, operations and marketing, helping keep the experience straightforward from the first enquiry through to the job itself.
Together, we're building a tree-care business grounded in specialist knowledge, honest advice and genuine respect for the local environment.
