Reducing avoidable risk without unnecessarily stripping the tree.
Dead, damaged or compromised branches can create unnecessary risk around homes, gardens and high-use areas. We identify and selectively remove problematic material, using appropriate climbing, rigging and lowering techniques to keep the work controlled and minimise unnecessary impact on the surrounding canopy.

Where appropriate, we create habitat in two ways: by enhancing suitable existing features within standing trees, or by carving purpose-built hollows from larger salvaged timber and securely installing them back into the canopy.

A closer look at the tree, its habitat and what is already living there.
We carry out habitat-focused inspections to better understand the tree's condition, existing hollows, cavities and wildlife value before recommending work. Where useful and appropriate, tools such as an endoscope can help us investigate cavities with minimal disturbance.

Larger sections can be repurposed into garden beds, micro planters and simple landscape features that keep natural material on the property and create something useful from what might otherwise become waste.
